Can mobile air conditioner, dehumidifier or outdoor air conditioning unit lay during transport?
If the products are in the original carton, it is possible, but for a limited time only. Once the items have been delivered to their destination, leave them in their correct position for at least two hours. It is not recommended to lay and transport the products without the original carton. The compressor could tear off and cooling circuit could be broken due to vibration during the transport. Always try to arrange the transport in their correct position.
Can I extend the hot air hose at mobile air conditioners?
It is not possible. The diameter and length of the hot air hose are precisely designed for each mobile air conditioner. By reducing the diameter or extending of the hose, it may cause inadequate push out of hot air, overheating and the unit would keep turning off as a result of the protection.
Can I shorten or extend a flexible hose at split units with QUICK connector?
The units are supplied with a flexible hose at length of 4 meters and can not be shortened or extended.
Does the outdoor unit contain refrigerant?
Yes, it does. Outdoor units are pre-filled with refrigerant from production sufficiently for a 5-meter distance between indoor and outdoor unit.
What is the difference between acoustic pressure and acoustic performance?
- The sound pressure level also called „Lp“ is the acoustic energy generated by the noise source. Its unit is decibel or dB(A).
- The sound power level also called „Lw“ is the acoustic energy generated by the noise source. Unlike the sound pressure, this value is measured under predetermined conditions, such as the distance from the measured noise source. Furthermore, its value is determined by the ambient conditions and location of the device. Its unit is decibel or dB (A). The acoustic power level is more accurate for comparison.
What is the price of installation of split units?
The price of professional installation of split air conditioners without QUICK connector is always contractual with respect to the season and customers requirements. The average estimated price is 260 EUR without VAT. Installation in the mentioned price includes: installation of indoor and outdoor unit up to 2,5 m from the ground with a distance between the indoor and outdoor unit of up to 4 m, one penetration through regular brick wall, placing of the connection pipe and the condensate drain together in the plastic strip, connection to the network in the place of the indoor unit to the pre-prepared separately secured socket 220-240V / 50Hz / 16A. Travel expenses and other extra work are not included in the estimated price.
